Late on Friday 12 September, we received an urgent marine enquiry requiring a rapid response. By mobilising immediately, our Industrial Services Team delivered a complete end-to-end solution: from contaminated fuel removal through to tank cleaning, purging and replenishment with fresh MGO – all within a carefully planned schedule.
The project included:
– Removal of contaminated fuel from the Port Side tank, followed by full cleaning and purging to remove sludge deposits.
– Removal of contaminated fuel from the Starboard Side tank, followed by full cleaning and purging to remove sludge deposits.
– Delivery of 25,000 litres of fresh MGO (Marine Gas Oil).
Operating from the dock, our Team accounted for the 9m tidal range and challenging site conditions, ensuring all works were carried out safely, compliantly and without disruption.
The result: a seamless, compliant and efficient recovery service – giving our client total confidence in their fuel supply and vessel readiness.
